On my pano in the rear it has access panels along the side, 2 each side. Would it be un roadworthy if i pulled the covers off and made these holes abit bigger and then built a box into them for storing stuff. They would also be on the utes and maybe wagons.??

any ideas would be appreciated

i dont see how using them for storage will present a problem, but i'd be hesitant about cutting the metal
