yeah, sometimes if you get rough the pipe join can crack inside the heater box..
thats how i stuffed the first one in my ea, so now if the heater hose has to come off i just cut it off and replace it..better to be safe then sorry... :)

my tight a** mechanic must of pulled them because it wasnt leaking before i went to the mechanic

i dont think u have to remove them from the heater box when doing a engine swap???

troyman- when u cut them do u leave the off cut bit on the pipe or cut it off completely. if u left it on i think it would hit on the firewall when your taking the heater box out??

when i cut the hoses off i cut a slit with a stanley knife length ways and kind of peel the hose open like a bananna..

geees wish i had read what troyman said, this morning. Replaced the thermostat on the ea today couldn't believe how hard it was to get that heater hose off under the inlet manifold!

fkn hell man i put it all back together and start the car and now theres a hissing sound coming from the top right hand corner of the heater box.any ideas?
