Hi all,
I am looking for advice. Three weeks ago, I used vinyl dye on my door trims, and on the top half of the dash, and paint on the lower half of the dash.
Today, I went to open the driver door, and part of the black dye had stuck to the dash  (will post pics in the morning)

My question is, what can I do, to prevent this from happening again, after I touch up the dash and the door trim??

let the paint dry before you close the door, or if you cant do that remove the door trim use the paint dye on it and wait till its 110% dry before you put it back on

It was 100% dry. The can said touch dry in an hour, fully dry in 24 hrs.

The trim has been in the car for 3 weeks. what would have caused it to happen now, and not when it was first fitted in the car?? :?

All I have done with mine, to make them silver, to remove the cloth that the handle surround, and then replace it with a silver piece of vinyl.
