Hi all,

A while ago my manual window winder snapped, and I only just got around to taking it apart today…. Turns out the shaft was snapped, I think this came from the nylon bush wearing on the outside where the groves are for the wire and the wire becoming tangled. Anyone know if I can fix this, a new setup is $100 new, haven’t looked at second hand prices.

Im thinking if I just get a new shaft and some new wire and put it back together properly it should work…coz I cut the wire out, it was all mangled.

So has anyone got a shaft or setup lying around? If not im headin to the wreckers next week...

Get one from the wreckers, I wouldnt bother trying to fix it.
They would be a dime a dozen and anything from a EA-EL will work.

from memory i think i paid $40 for a set of 4 from wreckers!
