when trying to put my power window up, there is a really bad humming kind of noise. can someone tell me what it is, so i can go to the wreckers and find the replacement part.

Sounds like the cable is broken or the plastic pieces securing the glass (remove door trim to verify)

To me it sounds like the cable is damaged not broken if it was broken the window wouldnt go up. The cable may have a kink in it

it goes down slowly but refuses to go up, so i have to pull it. i was thinking the regulator?
