Hey.
I'm trying to pull the standard plastic dash fascia out of my XC and i just can't figure out how to remove the headlight switch knob (i'm pretty sure this is the source of my trouble, as everything else seems to move freely)
And i was just wondering, Has anyone done this before? it's been annoying me for ages and I all of a sudden thought, hey why not ask you guys?
Any help would be appreciated.

headlight switch knob pulls off. ie, same as turning lights on, just pull harder

well that's how it came off when we replaced the switch in my mates XC. i can ask him how the rest came off if need be

but hold the metal rod with a pair of plyers to avoid damaging the plactic clip on the knob!
