i got a set of stainless door sills but the tape that came with them wont stick to the original plastic sills, ive tried every sort of double sidded tape i can find and i even sanded the plastic to see if it would help but didnt, it just wont stick to the plastic. what did every one else use to stick them down????

god damn i want some of these. Aaron had some the other day, but was toolate they went in a jiffy. nice and cheap too.
You got a link to the scuff plates if they were from a business or if u know they had more than one set?

use some sort of contact adhesive...that stuff will stick anything, you can get it anywhere...even coles, woolies etc..

i have seen them, so they dont screw in those cheap bastard i was expecting them 2 replace the plastic ones? not go over the top

remember you have to be able to remove them if you need to lift your sills up. i also found that double sided tape doesn't stick. so i've had mine sitting ehre for months now... |

yeah they stick onto the original plastic ones. do crash repair shops use some sort of industrial double sidded tape for holding on the plastic trims on doors or is that glue?
