Every now and then when I drive the BA, I get this strange knocking noise coming from various locations within the cabin. Today is was the worst, every minute or so, I could hear this loud tap... sounded like it was coming from the doors... it did it about 10 times.

Like the sound of a stone hitting the plastic trim from the inside...

I thought, since the car was locked up in the sun all day with the mega heat wave, then quick cooling from the aircon/outside air may have contributed to some of the trim expanding then contracting...

That was the only thing I could think that would be causing it?

Has anyone else had this problem with a BA?????

ive noticed the same thing in mine. it really happens but when it does u really notice it. i here the odd knock coming from behind the dash

I've had it happen once. only mine sounded like something bouncing around inside the dash... it was irritating but only lasted for about 5 minutes... hasn't happened since.
