hi im new to ford mods and recently had help from my father to get a EL falcon that runs on gas & petrol but it wont kick over. Does anybody have some good information that could help me get my car going again??

Does it normally start on petrol when it is not playing up? My NF wound over and over but wouldn't start it was the fuel pump had stopped working.
