I dont know is the simple answer. I have most of my experience with EL's and have not had much to do with the early E series falcons.
They are not that deep so depth will be fine, but not sure if they would require small (9mm) mdf spacers to sit them out a little. If so then its about $8 for the material and about 15min in the shed to knock them up. I only have one pair of them left.

i can tell you, yes the 6.5" speakers will fit in the std trim as i am running splits in my eb doors, if the magnet it too deep all you will need is a spacer ring thats all. the doors btw aaron are exactly the same from ea to el
 just thought youd like to know

Cool thanks, i dont have a lot of experienc with the earlier model E series to know.
My next projects will be 2 x BA's (or BF's)for myself and my wife so i will post details of those cars when i start)
