What size are the rotors on the stocky AU2 set up? And would you be able to fit the larger disc to AU2/3?

Just a quick question, what rim size is required to run these?

17" at least.
also makes the brakes look hugeeeeee!

will need to be a 16" rim. for these brakes.
we looked at the 300mm option but cost was the same. as as most people use 16" wheels or bigger we decided to stick with the 1 size.

please dont PM us wait untill we list here that they are ready for sale.

Ok then, sorry bout that!
Figured it would be same size as nine since its 330mm diskcs with twin piston calipers - my old 16" sportsman rims did NOT fit on my fbt brakes at the front. Go figure.

sportsman had 15" AFAIK

Sportsman most certainly had 16" - got many tyres for them over the years..

stock AU2 are 280 or 290 mm (cant remember exactly)
BA are 300 mm and premium are 330mm as are the EL GT
the fairylane by tickford and the AU tickford options

So are these made up of Ford parts or are some of them aftermarket? (Obviously the spindle is)

You really can notice the difference with these brakes, 329mm on the front really pulls you up quick

I suggest if you are interested in getting these brakes that you respond to Nicko on this thread letting him know you are a definate as it makes it easier for them ordering as you guys have to remember Darren is forking out his own money to get it all going!

Sydney is also doing this kit, so both VIC and NSW Members have the choice to go to either or! Other states.... mail order LOL :P
