as it says a EA mpefi ecu for a t5, looking for offers cant use it anymore as new car has smartlock.

Um, you can use it on the Smartlock car - it just wont be imobilised...

You dont need a bypass - you need a bypass if your using a smartlock ECU in an EA/EBI.
The other way? - well an EA or EB ECU will work in an ED/EL, but its easier to hotwire (the BEW doesnt need to enable the smartlock signal). The same as adding an aftermarket ECU really NIgel |
