I saw an EF fairmont at a wrecker with a sunroof and they only wanted $200 for it and that was before bargaining. The sunroof is the cheap part, apparently to have them fitted it cost something rediculous like $1000.
If you're not going to tackle the job yourself I wouldn't reccomend it. The pop top variety is a much cheaper/easier alternative although probably not as big and not electric

i think its more like half of that 500ish
and if u buy them new there not cheap e-series install with brand new roof cost like 1800

In the 70's and 80's they were a popular thing but soon died, a lot used to say they weaken the roof, not sure if there was any truth in that though, and they always leak. |

i would be asking if it comes with the roof lining cause the electric ones require a different one to standard

Well, speaking from experience, ours NEVER leaks, and never has, keeps the car alot cooler when parked, and is a cheaper alternative to the TVS ones.

Personally, I'm a fan - I like the cabin filled with light - meh, that's just me...I always wanted a sunny in my first car (86 Corolla Seca lol)...but knew it was not worthwhile...so when I got my EL Wagon...I put the biggest one I could fit in After selling the wagon, I couldn't *not* have one...so I bit the bullet again *ugh* and put one in the ghia...I'd say sunroofs aren't for tall people or noggins resembling beaten nutsacks due to sunburn factor â„¢ (LOL - sorry Paul...I still haven't got the whole beaten nutsack line out of my head yet )
