PLUS

Pods to house the midbasses which are approx 8 litres sealed and provide excellent up front midbass. The dynaudio speakers are one of the smoothest speakers I have ever heard and I am running the same system in my car presently.
These boxes represent more than 20hrs construction and are thoroughly sound deadened.

They are sold as speakers. pods and carpet cut to suit as a changeover arrangement so your grey carpet comes out and the carpet that is cut to suit goes in along with the pods and speakers. This is the Fairmont Ghia carpet so it’s the “super plushâ€￾ carpet in good condition.

The pods alone were costed at $500 - $600 the pair to built by a store
I am prepared to separate out the midbasses and PODS if someone is looking to add 7â€￾ midbasses to an existing set-up.

Prices are as follows.

$850 full 3 way system & Pods

$150 Pods w/exchange carpet
$450 PODS & 2 x 7â€￾ Midbasses

How do you think the Boston 6.5's would sound down there? ;)

Great, the bostons are a great speaker, will just need a little ring around the inside for them to screw into as the Dyn's were a 7" so the hole will be a little big.

mmmm.... Bostons....

I've had a few people ask me about the pods

Pods $300 w/exchange carpet, which suits me as i am keen to keep the Dyn's but they are still available as a package.

I'd need to have the Boston driver to do it, it will come down to depth. the Dynaudio's aren't all that deep, i'd need to have the boston driver to try and get it to fit...

They are cut into the carpet and they just sit in place. As they are moulded to the countour of the car they go over the hump part under the front of the seat and therefoe could never come out forward or backwards...

Hey aaron, im think i may have a good enouff front stage but hey why not add more :)

Can u give me some stats or a part number so i can have a look at these 7" midbass units.

I will have 2 6.5" alpine type-r 350w component packs in each front door and mighbe overkill but could run the mid bases in the kick panels ... how come you were parting with them and do u reckon i should honestly consider them ...

Cheers man

I just had another listen to these baby's, midbass is AWESOME, i love them.
Reason for selling is getting moeny for the gearbox in that other thing i normally drive.......

Once i have it in and some more cash i'll be buying the same thing again, although might get the 8's just so it matches my system...

They will certainly sound good but in all honesty i'm not sure you need to add any more to the system you have planned it will be pretty full on already...

Part Number:
MW 160 7" MSP one-piece cone woofer with 3" aluminum voice coil
