Im selling my recently built 4 speed auto out of my ED V8, it has only seen about 3000kms since being build by Preston Auto's and Diffs. I have receipt for proof. Has been internally strengthened with usual kevlar bands, drums machined, clearanced. Anyone who knows about auto's- this box was built to flow. Has modified valve body to stage 2. Shifts very hard with power button on and is mildly firm when in economy. Chirps 235/20's no problem. With stockies this auto will not chirp, but fry into 2nd gear. Auto is still in car and will only be removed after buyer has test driven. Also comes wit a 2200 stall converter. Am selling due to converting to manual. Anyone who has been in this car curses the first time it shifts. Am located in western suburbs.

price- $1500 firm.

No input shaft length is too long for an I6.

both front and rear clutch drums were machined. Yes stage two shift. But i've been in other apparent stage two cars and has not felt as firm as mine. Which is why i recommend a test before buying.

Would have been all over this if it was for an I6! Good luck with the sale.

Still for sale? Did the workshop give any guide as to how much power/torque this would be fit for?

Just wondering mate,
LE95 in 2004 and LE97 in 2008 - auto was replaced somewhere in-between?

According to the receipts the box has done something like 22000kms not 3000kms as advertised.
Also 4 years isnt exactly recently reconditioned.
Was the cluster changed int he car or something for the huge kilometre variance?
