Hey andrew, it appears they're not plug and play.
Don't know if the difference between Gli and Futura BEM may help, but in my car it wasnt plug and play.

because slightly damaged seat belts are illegal and it is required that you have 100% fine seat belts for road worthy.
i wouldn't want crap seat belts in my car.
also the fact that EL seat belts are colour coded, EF seat belts are black, colour coded looks nicer.
