What gears do you have in the rear?

What sort of tyres as well? 2.038 is moving!

i dun think stavs ever really going to answer this one, but im pretty sure he's running 3.7 diff gears iirc??? id say somewhere between a 2700 and 3000 stall, long headers with 2.5 inch exhaust, a decent cam with specs prolly similar to cms stg2/3. maybe flash tuned. shift kit... trans cooler.... extra cup holders.... fluffy dice on the reaer vission mirror.... pine tree air freshener. it all adds up...

edit: was writing this and others beofre stav posted ^^^^^

Nice.

You might get a 13 flat with a 4500 hi stall :D

How did you go with the cold air induction you were contemplating??

I think with your mile per hour you are on its limits with the setup without making more power. Still it'd be an amazing site seeing a AU wagon chew up a few gen 3 ss's. :D

I dunno, I made 89 mph in a stock au, im sure he can get more than 8 mph more with all that work, probs needs to try a higher stall and lower diff, ie 3000 stall and 3.7 diff gears. 60 foot might be about the same, maybe a tad higher, 2.1 or so, but higher mph will bring her home.

question is where in the rev range are you at the line?? absolute top of third or is there more room before redlining third? a mate of mine reckons in 4 speed auto's you should gear to be at the top of third at the line for best mph, then you work on the stall speed to get launches right.

Thanks guys. I estimate I am crossing the line in third at 5100 rpm. I may try crossing in second gear.

I think a different ratio will allow the car to develop more power as well.I dont really want to spend big on it anymore. Its been a good experience but there are a few little things I have overlooked which will be fixed ion time for winter..I hope.
