I've seen a log manifold, matching turbo and dump pipe go for $1000 through a forum.

Ok honestly, my first time aorund it cost me nearly 10k snort kit cooler piping wolfv4 injectors pumps etc etc but it goes to show do it once do it right, As my car is still kicking and as far as i know its never had a hiccup Private9 owns the car these days,

Anyways to part two, Im currently doing a turbo conversion to my brothers EBII factory manual it has been fitted with a Au engine EL ecu BBM etc. etc.

So for the turbo conversion i still had a few parts lying around for example cooler piping left over from a e-bay kit for the CAI on the AU conversion and a OBX FMU from my EB when it ran the stock ecu.

SO far we have pretty much purchased all the main bits and peices to make up the kit and only spent $1350 so far a run down on arts are as follows,

T70
Log manifold
Wastegate
Oil lines
Dump pipe
Air filter
$1100 (second hand but never used all brand new)

450x300x76 Bar and plate intercooler (Autobarn epping all ways have what you need)
$199

Walbro 255 GSS342 Intank fuel pump.
$50 (same as a landrover V8)

So basicly we have all the nessasry parts needed we are missing a few gaskets and flanges but at this stage we are hoping to get a 3" exhaust for under the 2k budget, It has helped that i have many friends in the industry and "mates rates" do come in handy but it can be done you just have to wait for the right oportunity. I'll post up a build thread when we get going. I have done this before so i do know what is needed.
