also thats such a terrible price to be paying i got quoted 1200 full comp with just car??? maby u should look into it lol

just remember my past..... i had a 94 EF and spend nearly 12k on it in parts/engine/wheels/brakes/kit and i only got 5k for it when i sold it to buy my old forester. now it was fun at the time but i spent wayyyyy to much on an old car, best thing to do is save up, buy the xr6t and then do it up.....
much better base car to start off with and u can get it running 12's with a chunk of money spent on it....

Even IF you can detune it and get it legally certified as under 125kw/t, its still gonna cost you a couple of grand for the tuning/engineers cert/emmisions testing. I highly doubt that you would be allowed to drive it detuned anyway because it is too easy to return it to the old tune.
I say buy your gf a cheap car with the $4000 and stay out of debt. I'm assuming its her first car so she will probably damage it in some way so its best not to be your car that you spent so much time and money on. Then you can save some more and upgrade your car when you get your full licence. |
