Good stuff.

F6 motor? Complete with turbo and accessories?

If its only a long motor what did you pay?

Nick sent me an email yesterday saying that FTG were going to deliver my new motor today. :)

Good stuff.

Nick received the 3rd motor and it wasnt perfect but he got his employees on to it and now it has good compression all round.

He said the engine swap will be done this week.

After that all it needs is a tune. :)

Hopefully there is no more surprises left for me. I dont think my luck can get any worse.

well it could :P but im not gonna jinx ya :P *touchwood* haha

dan, im picking up my F6 motor and T56 tomorrow morning... pending any unforseen issues... YAY!

from what i can see, you had no bonnet clearance issues? (minus bonnet ribbing)

did the tremec come with the car? or did you install it? because im pretty sure ill need a custom tailshaft with the t56

My tremec came with the car.

I havent checked to see if its a different slip yoke than normal.

I still think the engine will hit when it torques up.

oh ok... (im kinda new, ok very new to manual systems)... would that cost you heaps to alter?

im at least lucky with the case the gearbox is suited to the motor, so i wont have to worry.

how physically big is the XTC EMS? do you reckon nice could fit it in a factory ecu casing? or would it be too big?

its pretty small but it wouldnt fit in a factory ecu case. hide it under the dash and leave the stock one there.

New tailshaft would fix the yoke issue.

Nick says the motor will be swapped by the end of the week. :D

If its not Im going to try and bring it home and DIY the motor swap to speed things up. Paying rego for a car you dont drive gets the motivation going. :P

Im pretty sure it only needs a tune once the motor swap is done.

Is she going to be ready for the Nats this weekend...?
 Good luck with it Dan.
I'm going to convert my corty to gas in the next week or two, then the new motor shouldn't be too far behind... :P

It would be awesome if it was ready by this weekend but I doubt it will be.

It only needs a motor swap and a tune as far as I am aware so it could be doable but Im sure they have other cars which have to be worked on as well.
