looks kinda like one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/GDI-TECH-38MM-EX ... dZViewItem

so this is probably a rip-off of the decent brand that snort use

if it were a genuine tial it would have the tial engravings on the top of it. id doubt they would have them included in these cheapish kits

sorry snort, its just that when i look at the three gates, the genuine tial, the ebay cheapy and yours, i see that a blind man can pick the odd one out...

care to argue otherwise??? note: there are some VERY distinct differences, have a decent look, and i beleive you will back away from that arguement

lol, i did absolutely not poke any discredit towards you, go back and please read the thread, and read my first reply... i didnt say snort this, or snort that, i simply said that gate, the gate in question is one of the ebay cheapass ones...

then, you piped up in defence, and directed discredit directly towards me, and said, U CAN TELL FROM THAT PICTURE?? and then added an expletive. and then also, on your high horse, you directed further comment regarding my own turbo system...

then, i come back and challenge the idea that the gate is infact a cheapass... which may i add, it IS a cheapass.

the only refernce i made to you, was to list that pictured gate as a snort gate in my comparison.. if its not a snort gate, thats fine, im not claiming it is.... my claim is that its a crappy gate

id like to hear your thoughts on my own work, im up for the entertainment

ebs4l, you have been seen many times in these threads discrediting peoples work or systems even ours, i can remember some brainwave going into detail how one of our earlier snort manifolds couldnt control boost with the wastegate location,,, and then continue to wank on further how yours is soooo well made the only way to control boost is to cut a bloody hole in your exhaust housing even with a garrett 1.06 a.r

how then can you explain how we can run even .63a/r ( if we choose to ) pushing the same rwkw and still control our boost no problem????

my problem is not with your work champ to be honest you have done a very good job ( other than the wastegate ) but it works well for you with your current engine setup?, misleading information is the problem here and the way you associate our products to cheap ebay crap!!!!
