i just finshed putting my turbo gear on my ea and when i start the car the turbo dosnt spin but when i slighty rev the car it spins that could this be
turbo stuffed poor flow from the manifold leak plz help guys |

not spinning at all? Im guessing stuffed bearings in your turbo

its stufed mate take it off and have new bearing put in it and all ckeckt out or you will stuff it more

some turbos when new are a little tight. they loosen up after a few drives.
what brand to4e is it?

it is very comon for a bush type turbo to not spin when iding. check the clearance between the fins and housing but id say that it will be fine.

If it spun too much or made boost at idle it would be too small...
If there's NO end play etc she's fine.... I guess its quite a big turbo ?? Big exhaust housing ??? If its always had oil its fine....

the turbo i bought was cheap and had some damage on the front fins and has some shaft play but as i said it only spins up once its rev and it dosnt hit boost for ages and im only getting like 2 psi ???

in sayin dis i aint an expert,but, if the bearings have play they are prob gone or are going, and if itsnt boosting properly it culd also be a waste gate,id take it off and check things out
