Thought i'd post a few pics of my XF ute that is finally running again. Still needs some things sorting out on it, but it drives !
Anyway i won't go into great detail, but essensialy its an 91 XF ute with a 06 BF engine with a hairdryer on the side, tremec TKO 600, and some big wheels.

Id say the E-gas donk would be better as they have the typhoon style rods in them yes?

E-gas engine has same rods as the Typhoon and u can get wreaker E-gas engines not a reasonable price as well. Then buy urself a turbo kit and away u go.

Ur ute must break traction pretty easy dude, and thats how i would like it too :D

no power figures as yet, as it has not been tuned.
i've only travelled about 15 k's on the several test runs that i have done whilest trying to sort out various small teething problems, so no big boost levels yet until it is sorted and tuned.

Yeah the cable ties on the ECU were a temp measure, it is now mounted securely on a metal bracket. Thanks for your help bollocks with the ECU, it all seems fine.

Nice work.

Just curiously, was the E-Gas's 10.7:1 compression dropped a bit to suit the turbo?
