yeah you could do it. but for the extra power it would be worth the change to MPI

technically yes.
how ever it only uses 2 injectors, and would run out of fuel.
you'd be best off to convert to a MPFI manifold and use aftermarket ECU.

There is a NL fairlane with the XR6T engine in it. Biggest sleeper.
I would get the MPI engine and turbo it much easier fro the intercooler piping

you'l find that those 2 injectors would flow very similar to six from an MPI car.

feul pump from the CPI car would be the bigest limmiting factor.
if you kept the boost to about 5psi them pump and ECU would probably be about the only changes.

yes i realise they're very big injectors, but they wouldn't be far off their limits.
if you're going to change ECU anyway, you might as well got MPFI.

As a cheap way of getting bigger injectors? the problem with these injectors is they are prone to leaking, as for size and fitment i dont know.

i believe the ea centrepoint injectors are 80lbs... there is no way they will fit into a eb or bbm style manifold as they are not round, next time your at a wrecker pull some out and have a look.. i dont see running 6 of them being a viable option....

also if you dont mind doing it a bit on the dodgy (and very illegal) side you can keep the cpi manifold and bolt a carby onto it. There was one on this site a few weeks back with a 350 holley on a cpi manifold, turbo. Although the fines for removing the pollution gear are massive.

the cost of putting on a holley would be more than a mpi conversion wouldnt it?
