good cars with a 6 speed 5 speeds flog out pretty easy.. good cars, great power easily modified and reliable..... you wont regret the purchase.. good luck

i've got a BF 11 T ute, just had some more mods done... 430rwhp. simply awesome. yeah, you wont regret it :D

Thanks for the replys guys, just a quick one is every one saying the manual tranny craps out, so go for the auto or just the 5 speed manual cheers

i've got the 6sp Man, wouldnt have it any other way.
have driven the auto version as well, would be the best auto trans available in any other comparable price bracket and a little above too.

the 5spd flogs out, the 6spd t56 from ba2 onwards is much better. Ive driven the 6spd manual, and that was fun, but havent sampled an 6auto yet so cant comment on that one.

Is there a problem with the diffs aswell on the turbos, or is it just the xr8s that have it as a weak spot ??

my bar id a FK MK11 with the 6 speed auto.. i previously owned an af fairmont with a T5 and dont regret going auto.. -thats how good the ZF 6 speed auto gear box is...
If you HAVE to go manual.. get the 6 speed manual...

the diffs are the same afaik. the cv's are weaker than the diff...
the diff bush flogs out, but the actual diff isnt to bad, i've seen 400rwkw through a standard diff no worries..
