Hi guys
Two Questions. How much does it cost to get the timing chain replaced? i have heard the spark plugs can be a real pain in the a*** to get out and can be fused in there if left to long without changing them and cost a small fortune to render the problem . I am pritty sure there is no problem with the 260 spark plugs. Its the 220 3v motors that have problems with spark plugs.

Is your ute an XR8 or just a base model? The 260 motors where in the XR8's. If your ute's not an XR then you have the 3v 220 motor which have problems with spark plugs.

Doesn't cost much to change the chains if you do it yourself. What's wrong with them? Are you sure it's not guides or tensioners?
