I need a new accelerator/throttle cable for my EBII V8 monty wagon. I have tried repco, autopro, rare spares, ford spares & the spare parts at the local ford dealer. No one can help me as they all say the part has been discontinued.

The EF/EL cable is still available. Is this the same as the EBII?

Ford spares in Canberra did a bit of digging around for me & could not get an answer from Ford head office! They just ordered an EF V8 cable for me to compare with mine. I picked it up today & it is the same as the EBII. Just pulled out the old sticking & frayed cable & replaced with the EF cable. All is now well with Monty!
