-With Ignition off

Move gear selector to:

1 = max performance
2 = max econ
3 = adaptive shift

-Turn ignition on and wait for airbag warning light to go out
-Move selector to R and econ light will flash 3 times to indicate a successful gear change
-Put in P and start engine and watch the ECON light
-Two flashes after turning on indicates max performance
-ECON on continuously means max econ
-No illumination means adaptive shift.

Remember I had an ELGT ECU? But it didn't work on my car anyway as I think they (GT and FBT) have a different BEM or TCM; can't remember.

Yeah, Tickford (V8 afaik) AU Falcons have adaptive shift. But they have a different way to set them up. Instructions in their manuals.
