Hi there I have put a 95 302w into my XE but the harmonic balancer
is shot, I have a brand new balancer from a 302c and I just wondered
if they were compatably interchangable ?

They list them different and Roller motors have 50 Oz ballance... Rocket industries sell quality street for around $280.00....

No they aren't, and you can get a suitable replacement from Powerbond for between $165-220 dependant on the type.
