series 3 xr8 au utes come out with 200kw engines.
Only the sedans got the 220kw engine.

on carsales there is a series one TS50 or TE50 (cant remember which) for around $14,000

but YTMONT wouldnt shut up in the other thread on BA 3V's.

dont forget to look into safety as well ie brakes and suspension for this speedster car.

that's only cos whatever his name was wouldn't listen to what I was saying.
i understand some people like the t1s, but when it comes down to it, i think an au3 is a better shape and it is more powerful.

Good stuff, get into a V8!!!
If you can get a clean S3 XR8 with a full bodykit, they look pretty shmick.
Plus, as you know, have all the good parts that the EL's should've had :evil:

I'm glad you've gone off the idea of a Soarer. That would have been dirty.

Methinks that with replacement headers, cat, zorst and an edit ($2,500 max???) you would be into the mid 13's AND you would be lookin' and soundin' awesome while doing it and, as we know, that's a pretty tough ask for you mate :wink:

i think i'd be able to do it just porting the existing heads.
i'm really keen on the au3, just not sure if i have the funds to spare.
