hey all
i have a mate of mine with a bf pursuit ute he changed the cat and exhaust and they put the old sensor back in now when he drives for a while the engine light comes on something to do with emissions does anyone know how to fix this or can you get a different sensor for it if so who makes it thankx |

its not the sensor, its because the new cat isnt as efficient as the old cat, and BF's (as with any car built after 1/2006) use the 2 oxy sensors to ensure the cat is doing its job properly so as the car complies to emission laws. Put simply, the car needs better cats to be legal.

^ Bingo.
That's why exhausts for BF's are usualy $500-800 more than the same thing for a BA. Better cats are required.

and when u fit a cheap version that interferes with the car, dont expect ford to fix it under warranty either. I wish i had a dollar for every person i've had that arguement with over the years

ok so what is the best one to get so you dont have problems and is ok for warranty but is higher flow

None of them will be ok with warranty. Ford are cracking down heavily on any mods.
But you should ask, and make sure the cats are Euro3 / BF compatible.
