Underdrives work well on the boss.. just do your oil pump gears as well at the same time. Do you have extractors as well..?

it was just a lucky pick some of the xr's scored the 290 boss just guess i was lucky billet oil pump gears $549 i told a lie they are 60lbs injectors not 64 sorry and they where $912 cant remeber how much springs where around $700 i think but custom tune is the way to go oil pump gears dont add killowats just allows you to make more power without the std ones letting go same as the springs next on my list will be underdrives

What about a 100 or 150 shot of Nos, cheap easy HP, be carefull if you put underdrives on it, you may have clutch problems afterwards.

Keep in mind there will be a bolt on TT kit available in the next few weeks that will make killer torque.

How many XR8's were sold with a 290 engine in them? I've not heard this before. I think you may have been lead astray with info or specs on your car

Mines a 260 motor and makes 320 atw with bolt ons and flash tuner with std injectors.

I've seen an XR8 with the BOSS 290 in it from factory, i don't know about when or why they were fitted though.

i have a dyno print out that says 306rwkw the injectors are just a back up so they wont run dry the std ones that is when making that amount of killo's 320 atw sounds alot hp or of killa wasps
and some xr8's did pick up the 290 motor it was a option that was extra i only have bolt ons myself that is a fair bit for just bolt on mods

320rwkw with bolton seems far fetched. you'd be lucky to get more then 260rwkw on these motors with out opening them or forcing them
