nah got it off PK at Kelford, he's a friend of mine. Yeah it's coming along nice, but a few things to iron out yet. Can't see there being much room for a rubber isolator on the engine mount at the moment..

I desperately need an oil pickup from a dual-pan 302 sump from a early Bronco or something. Can anyone help me?

Yea I didn't see you had comp springs... The std Edelbrock are not a performance spring...
Yes I'll be getting some Kelford cams for my 1UZ turbo RA28 Celica, slow build but coming along..

actually worked out pretty well ![]() ![]() Tried to get a snapshot of the throttlebodies spraying fuel as it was running but my camera wasn't really up to the task. ![]() ![]() New Batman front seats ![]() |

Right, I'm back
Ran engine in after road tune.. knew it was running pretty rich.. got it dynoed today and made 246hp at the rear wheels and 240 lbft @ 3900rpm (180rwkw and 325nm) I was expecting about 250hp at the rears but secretly hoping for a bit more. I think my cam isn't making full use of my head/intake/fuel combo. Also, the only other V8 experience I've had is my mates Falcon which had a stock 302 clevo with pacemakers and a cam with a 600 Holly which made 180rwhp. I expected to make more than 66hp over him... lol {DESCRIPTION} {DESCRIPTION} |

^ sorry not sure what you mean?
I'd like to know if those results are reasonable? I wasn't sure what to expect from a windsor. |

AFRs are your air/fuel ratio. Generally (here anyway), when you put your car on the dyno, they stick a wideband o2 sensor up your exhaust pipe to keep an eye on the air/fuel mix. You'd want it to be sitting at around 12.7:1 under full throttle.

Oh right of course.. I'm not actually sure what the AFR was in the end.
It was running very rich when I bought it in (road tune only) and now it's just 'safely rich.' I guess that doesn't answer your question though.. perhaps I'll give them a call and ask |
