just replaced head gaskets on my ef v8 and all runnin now but as soon as it gets warm will idle funny but rev and drive fine:s some ideas would b great im stumped

Yepo pretty confident on that on, had probs with the pcv plug on bak of intake so I threaded it up haha, I was thinkin mayb a idle sensor, but don't no how to check em

car doesnt do it anymore. only thing i can boil it down to is the computer learnin, so i just took of the idle air control plug and cleaned the contacts. all good now except i just noticed a tiny leak on my new overflow bottle underneath the top cap and near the little overflow pipe. one thing after another lol

haha rite on tha money, thought id give one a try, just get me a second hand one i think.

anybody have some knowledge on the pcv system on these windsors( i think thats what im havin a problem with, the little black fitting on the bak of the lower intake). all fine when i drive no boost even when under 5psi, soon as i take it past 5 it blows that out and spits bit of all in me clean engine bay :evil:

Sounds like your crankcase is pressurising. Check your pcv valve isn't stuffed. If it's OK then do a leakdown test

As stated, crankcase is pressurising. With 300+ thousand kms and boost, id say those rings are getting alot of blow by.

when i ripped it apart looks as tho it has been rebuilt as some point ay, just gonna hav to drive it untill i can sort this out, only does it on hard boost so should b aite. cars ay
