Heads, cam and manifold. E7 heads aren't worth the metal they're made from.
I'd go with extractors and exhaust like you said. Then save the pennies for other stuff down the track. |

I have already got the car mate sorry, The body and paint is excellent. What types of exhaust systems are people running in series 1 XR8's? This one has what look like factory extractors, are they any good or is it woth upgrading to pacemakers?

Agreed, the only thing they didn't do wrong was make em out of PVC. Go pacemakers if not Genie or Advance, Any sort of header is an improvement but the Pacemakers are the go!

I just spkoe to our exhaust guy and he said a single 2.5 inch is the go with advance headers, as the paccies you have to move the cats back so is alot more work. Will this sound good?

Your exhaust guy obviously hasn't worked on a E series V8 before. I fitted my Pacemakers on my wagon at HOME. Easy as. If he cannot do it, he is lazy and you should look elsewhere. |
