Hi, Does anybody knows rpm limits usage for the new boss 347 Ford block? I have a brand new Z347 crate engine for my 1968 Mustang, and i was thinking about Pete Jackson timing gears and a 6.800 Crane cam for it. Does the stock block and z heads allow it? I am sending this from Chile, and my english is bad, and i cant found any specifical data in USA or Ford Racing site, please help me.

My advice would be to send the people who you bought it off an email and I am sure they would be able to tell you for sure.

Welcome to Fordmods :)

That block and internals will handle well over 7500rpm.
I like to see at least 10.5:1 compression before you do that though.
I'd forget about the PJ gears and use a belt drive instead.
