Yep knew the MAF would fix some of your problems, first thing to check with a 5.0 falcon.
Oxy sensors are about $50ea from covs for bosch ones, obviously genuine ones fetch abit more, something like $90.

is it ok to clean the hot wires with an eye dropper and some metho as thats how i've been doing it especially since i have a k&n filter which leaves oil residue on them

There Isnt one.
Its called a MAF and its just attached to the airbox |

So with the k&n filter, how often would you say u need to clean it? i clean mine roughly 2 - 3 times a year. as tempting as it is to keep clean i'm scared of over cleaning it one day. |
