u dont need to force to break those figures, look in street fords issue 5, the 460rwhp eb :D never seen a snail in its life and its got that power :D it is achievable, u just need to know how to do it. altho i dont kno wht hp is in relation to rwkw but i think its gotta be close to 350 ish. Btw its running a svo block.

I spent a bit of time on commie forums when I had the ute, and it seems its pretty easy to get n/a 8's into the 12's with the commodores. Quite a few were only cammed and diff change - not even strokers!. (Mine woulda done 12's after the rebuild but I didnt get to take it down). I wont be hard for falcons to do the same thing.

In 5.0 and Super fords Mag, they had a comparo with the BBK, GT40, SystemaxII, Trickflow and Edelbrock RPMII. The BBK was rated as only just better than the GT40. The RPMII was the only manifold to top 450hp. Just my 2 cents. The BBK is a trick looking bit of gear, and the fuel rails are an added bonus for the price, but i will be sticking with my RPMII. Good luck with the project, and hope it makes the power you want. When it does you will be in a similar predicament to me, and need to weigh up your options as to a box to put behind the monster.

Brett

yeh rpm2 would be my weapon of choice, but my gt40 should suffice for now..

advantage of the bbk is u can pull the rocker covers on both sides and not have to take off the upper manifold..

I got the BBK, as it came with TB, Fuel rails etc.... The manifold is going to ported out some to match the heads.. I got it here for $1400 including everything, freight, customs, duty, gst etc... You can't buy many intake manifolds w/ throttle body and high flow fuel rails for that!

Hopefully it will make the power I'm after, if it falls short, its still gonna be a heck of a ride.... Box?? I've got a tremec T5 good for 550ft/lb of torque... Should be enough to cope.... The diff on the other hand........
