just wanted to no is it worth puting heat tape on the engine side of the air box, inlet tube??? just the bits in red i was going to do!!!

spose it wouldn't hurt, what is it? might reduce temps by a little. anythings worth that extra little bit, although i don't think u'll notice any diff. are u looking to improve performance or looks or wat?

Personally i don't think it would be worth the effort. Plus it would look kinda gaylord with tape all over the place.

Ever put your hand on the top of that inlet manifold after a good drive? Hot as all buggery. I really dont think reducing the temp of the air passing through the inlet plumbing will do much...
Good thinking tho... might be worth a crack on the 6?
