Hey all, just purchased a set of s/h hitech extractors for my eb 5.0.Just wondering how good they are and does anyone have them fitted to their 5.0 and how did they compare to the stock headers?Im not chasing bulk power just an upgrade from the pressed in stockie headers.cheers

I was shown a dyno graph that compared hitech with other big name brands and they came out on top. At the end of the day, anything is better than the stock 1st year apprentice effort that Ford use.

Gee, 1st year apprentice, thats a compliment, they are more like a pre-apprentice header. I dont know how they compare to other headers but im sure you will feel a noticable difference over the stock manifolds.

Nothing will bolt up to the standard cats. They have to cut the engine pipe which is attached to the cat.

I am gonna buy a set for $200 second hand I am sure they can be welded on to standard cats, what do you think barnarcus? I cant justify paying $550 for cats just yet.... (EF 5.0)

OK for stock heads - tried on GT40P's and found them way too restrictive.
