how good are the xr8 mk2 cats? are they free flowing? would they be better than standard el ghia v8 cats?

I am almost 100% sure, and backed up by the service manual, that the cats are the same in all V8s from EF1 to EL2. Behind the cats is certainly different.

Unless your engine has some mods imo the cats are o/k..
Mind you if they have hit a speed hump etc that are prone to internal damage like any cat...
