couple things 1. Have you been on every single road in Vic???? How would you know there isnt one where you could do 180+??? His car wouldnt be THAT slow so i dont see why you keep bring what kinda car it is.
2. NT from memory now HAS speed limits so you cant go there anymore. I was calling you a wanker cos you where just been a tool, but every person is aloud there 2 cents so who gives a s**t. xh5lwepn- I thought u were but i was just getting confussed, my bad And i have been in many cars (EF station wagon-180km, BA XR8 ute-230km, NF Fairlane 4.0L- 200km, 02 V6 Statesman-200km, BA XT-200km, 96 Intgra-220km, Holden Nova-180km, thats not safe, ED XR6 200+ as speedo ran out, BA XR6T 230km, GSXR600-280km, note i was driving all of these cars at the time of the speeds and they where all pretty much on the same road) doing high speeds and the key is to do it when NO BODY else is around and it is a nice peace of straight road with pleanty of room to accelerate and also brake

thats probly the dumbest post i have EVER seen on fordmods. congrats, can a moderator please award him with a hoon of the year award. if your traveling at 200+km/h how the f@*k would you no if somthing would accidently pop up on the road, do u inderstand that even hitting into a chickn could do a s**t of damage at that speeds. f**k whats wrong with people these days, do you think at anyone will do stupid stunts if they new a kid, or a car was going to pop up in the middle of no were??? yet there are soo many accidents caused because of such stupid reasons like that. retards like you should be kept off the road

lol that reminds me, over a year and half ago.. i was cruising at 160kph, 2 roos centre of my lane, hit the skids, full on locked it up(abs no workies) and not 1 metre away i just pulled up before hitting them. I nearly died, not because of nearly hitting them, but the smell of rubber almost knocked me out! flat spots FTW. |

i dont think people realize how s**t pre b-series ford handel. i wouldnt trust any standard family car with live axel anything above 120km.
after regurally driving a s2000 or even my focus i can say that steping into a au or ef the thing feels like a boat. soo much body roll, brakes get wrapd with in seconds and you can just feel and smell the brakes dieing from the friction and heat. i have seen numerous e-series brake their tail shaft on take off at the drags. are you seriously willing to trust a 2.5meter alloy shaft to last after possibly exeding 100,000 rotations a day??? especially when its eventually bound to eventually brake???

I have had my old mans 4.0L Fairlane up to 200 and it felt fine so i dont see why it would hurt for him to have his up to and beyond that speed but maybe if you plain on doing it often then you should look at up grading your tailshaft for added safey So I'm a tool and a wanker? I'm not the one bragging in a open forum of constantly breaking the speed limit, Brad has warned us all before, that the police do scan these forums for threads like these, and if he is asked to do so, he will hand over your details to them. |

if you dont like seeing comodores flying past you at 210km/h then buy a comodore simple. where and where in in melbourne are you going to legealy exceed 180km/h in a nf??? i cant even think of a track in melbourne which you would be able to with a nf. brakes in e-series cars are just s**t, the things over heat in a matter of seconds when traveling at high speed. a car like that is simply not designd to travel that fast if you want to speed, do it the right was, go to northern terratory, no speed limits. n flog the f@*k out of your car. ive been doing civil engineering for two years now and i can confidently warn you that no victorian road is safe to travel 180km/h on. thats my 2c worth. griffo161 your the wanker, i think of others before my self. please explain to me how thats a bad thing. i couldnt care less if yous think im a wanker mate hes not in melbs hes in portland wich is a long way from melbourne!

They do civil engineering in high school now? And honestly, if you think cops are going to hunt him down because he SAYS he does 180 on a forum, you are pretty lost. {USERNAME} wrote: {USERNAME} wrote: {USERNAME} wrote: The quick way to disable the limter is to put a switch in your VSS line to the EEC and switch it off. No speed signal...no limit.Pete. Then your speedo would read 0km/h wouldn't it?And for anyone wondering why that is so, its because the VSS signal goes to the dash first, and then the ECU.

Nope, cut the line to the EEC, not the speedo. |

I'm not wanting to buy into the speeding argument at all, just wish to politely correct 4dvlr in that most of the freeways in Vic (and some highways and bypasses) have a design speed of 200kph+ and I'm assuming it is the same in every other state and territory in Australia. The design speed is basically determined by the condition, viability, horizontal and vertical curves of the road. Cheers

I think you turn the caps lock off then use the search feature. |
