Just wanted to know if the LPG setup from an I6 falcon is different to what would be required for a v8?

Not really, they pretty much run the same mixers and convertors.
Although it does depend on the type of setup, but basically the (Factory setups) Poliauto convertors with simple mixer are the same for 6 and 8.
