Just had the rear muffler cut off and replaced with a resonator and chrome tip. Got a nice note out of a car that was virtually silent at idle and not much better under acceleration.

Only thing is, I was looking for more of a 'General Lee' or 'Lightning McQueen' for the work. ($280) all up. Any advice out there to get a serious rumble out of her without going the full 2000 dollar system as my wife would never let me part with that kind of cash.

well on my ute i got a twin 2.5" berklee and it sounds good, not loud in the cable but abit of a grumble out the back. my old setup was a single 2.5" with a single straight through muffler, while it was loud it didnt have a nice v8 sound. just waiting for my new exhaust to burn in a lil bit then i'll post a sound clip
