Can someone tell me what hoses go where on the different manifolds.
I am going from HO manifold to the Cobra manifold. Here are some pics. Cobra is the left, HO is the right. The cobra has 2 fittings on the left but none on the right. and also only 1 port on buldge bit. The HO has 2 on left, and 2 on the right (along with that 3 piped fitting), and also has 2 ports on buldge bit So obviously there are some modifications you have to do hoseing wise to get this working. Any help would be appreciated. Im getting stressed out big time on this job, trying to find info sometimes is near impossible, and trying to order parts is near impossible when they dont know what the hell your on about. Hmm it's been ages since I did this, so I'll try to remember. You're going to need some new hose for your PCV and booster, connect your booster to the big dark fitting on the plenum. Connect your PCV to one of the smaller centre fittings. Perhaps then buy a T fitting and run some hose from the other centre pipe to the T fitting and run a new hose to your vacuum connection climate control and the other to your purge solenoid. That will get you going.
Can you remember what else connected to the small tree at the back? I'm thinking purge solenoid and the climate control. If you have more, such as EGR stuff, buy a T piece with more connections on it. Ben, if you need a hand, let me know and I can come over and help you. Can't come over, baby sitting duties..... |

ok so finally have time to work this out today.
can i drill and tap a hole here for the tree shaped fitting? the tree is for emmsions crap, dont know exactly what they are, but thats what they are.

the 3 tree one is mainly for egr i think. i got rid of mine and all the hoses. had some thing that was mounted to drivers side guard that had a few vac lines to it. the way banarcus has said to do the booster and pcv is opposite to your ho. the pcv runs off the plenum and the booster off the one in the middle. not sure if it makes any diff though.

alright basically this is what i done today, hopefully it is allgood, and wont disrupt anything.
basically eliminated the piece from the centre to the t piece, as i couldnt fit it all in there witht eh fittings i had. Will it cause any dramas?
