Yeah I was referring to the headgaskets. How come the 6s have problems with alloy heads and the 8s dont? Isnt it to do with different metal expansion rates and cooling/shrinking?
Is it to do with the fact that the 8s heads are smaller than a 6s?

My manifold cost me 1000 landed but was a very long wait and i got it trade. The power figure was 10-12rwkw with this manifold on N/A. But was good for an extra 25rwkw on NOS. The torque didnt appear to suffer with the change to the RPMII 5.0efi manifold either. This has all been achieved on stock heads and cam for a 170kw factory motor

Imo I'd use either TFS trick flows or AFR if you want to spend another $1k for cnc machining..From www.highperformanceworld.com.au Edelbocks are o/k along with Holley or www.protopline.com ...

that intake manifold sits higher then normal and you have problems sitting it under the bonnet don't you?
anyone know if it'll sit under a EB bonnet without problems, even tho i have a GT bonnet think it still could be hard, thats why im thinking about going explorer plus i want it to look stockish
