just wondering if anyone knows the firing order for the pre efi 5ltr. thanks would be a big help. i cant find it anywhere

well my ef is running the older firing order. and its got aftermarket heads on it. so its efi but running pre efi order

Have you got an early cam in this thing? Strange how it runs the older firing order. Late order is 13726548. |

yeah it is weird. its running that cause it was originally a 6 cylinder. then when it got changed to an 8 i got a 302 out of a xe that had been worked and just put fuel injection on it and got the computer set up to run the old timing. i know weird, but thats just the way i had it done. going to get it changed with the next cam that goes if. cause the newer 1 is a bit more efficent.

The thing is the last to have the Windsor was the XW mate, i think a few XY's too around that time but still it was early 70's.
So is it running roller cam? Firing order will change with cam, not with heads. |
