don't let them tell you that. it dose take a bit of time but if you can find a decent exhaust shop they should be able to do it. i actully had to stay at the exhaust shop and tell them how to do it. But i live in outback QLD,so a decent city exhaust shop should have know trouble. Let them know that the bush hicks can do it. By the way my XR8 runs superlow spings and tow bar witch makes it even tighter. Just from my expience i would really try and get the twin.

Offtopic perhaps, but with your dual 2.5" system Brad, did you lose any low down torque at all? I've been wanting to do this on my wagon for an old school look and sound and am keen for your opinion given the amount of BS on the net from those with nil experience?

iwould say that i never lost any low down at all if anything i gained just a little. up high it certainly revs harder. But the best news of all and i know people will be sceptical because i was unsure and it took a few tanks of fuel to convince me. On h/way driving i picked up about 100km per tank. i went from 510km per tank to at least 600km somtimes more. My XR8 manual gets 720km per tank. so you would proberly do better than my wagon since you have a manual.

yea its a pain that you can't have them seprate on the sedan, but it still makes a great noise. i must admit that the wagon dose sound better because the pipes come out on left and right. but the sedan still runs a close second, still sounds like a nice v8 rumble.
