As the Australian dealer I can say that Pro-M have definately left me in the lurch. I have had no notification from Pro-M and have purchased 5 meters which haven't arrived. They do not answer emails or phone calls and all I can say is that I hope the rumours are true (the employee's are trying to purchase the company) and we can get back to normal again.
Anyone who has paid for a meter should contact me on my mobile and we can discuss options and refunds......
Shane

ALL IS NOT LOST
Found this one so there is still hope for us Australians

"Here's the deal. Pro-M is gone, but a new company has already been started, called Professional Mass Air Systems. This company was started by a few former Pro-M employees and a few new investors from Colorado (myself included), and we'll be using the necessary equipment (formerly owned by Pro-M) to fill Pro-M's void.

So basically what you get is the same Mass Air with a different name on it, produced by former Pro-M employees, using former Pro-M equipment.

The dealers who have contacted us have already made orders, and they'll be filled in the next couple of weeks as we get the new facility up and running. For the general public, we'll be able to calibrate meters very very soon (2 weeks at most), all brand new Mass Air sales will go through dealers

There's no reason to panic, everything is already official, and things are being taken care of
."
I have just sent an email off to see if he can do our Australian specific meters straight away.
Shane

That's rough shane. I assume you've been trawling the US forums but just in case you didnt stumble across this one (thread posted last week):

http://www.ffcobra.com/cgi-bin/ultimate ... 052895;p=0

Some questionable comments from JR Granatelli...

Anyways Shane, best luck in sorting this out.

A good laugh with that link, without JR Granatelli posting a link to the court case of Best suing Granatelli; it does make JR look the bad guy.

I will hold judgement just yet, JR stating he was still purchasing and would purchase from the ex employees company, shows to me he mighten be the bad guy here, wait and see what is the truth.

I really hope that isnt the end of Pro-M.. I need a MAF, and they definantly seem to be THE way go go.

Good luck chasing up the new guys shane, all the Windsor fans have their fingers crossed.

JR isn't the bad guy here - he is just raping the company now he has bankrupted it. He has even redirverted Pro-M's telephone number to ring through to his switchboard.....
The guys who have started the new company sent me this so it looks like there is a good deal of hope for us Australians

Shane,

We can still calibrate the Australian specific meters, but we will need you to send the air box and meter to make sure our calibration are 100%.

Basically, as far as the closure of Pro-M is concerned, at this time, all we know is the bank took over and closed the doors. We then made an offer and bought some of the equipment, and are currently in the process of starting a new business, Professional Mass Air Systems, LLC. The company was started by Nick and a few investors from Colorado.

We're still setting up shop, and we'll be up and running next week sometime. If you're interested, we will contact you when we're open and ready for business, and we'll take care of your needs as fast as we can get it done.

Thanks,

Sam Powell

INTERESTED - I NEARLY FELL OVER TRYING TO EMAIL HIM BACK
Shane

Good news Shane.

Hopefully the Fordmods Windsor boys can really try to support you in the future to help you recoup your losses through the Pro-M collapse.

I will need to send them there on a permanant basis - so they can confirm the calibrations of the meters they have produced for us. Hence the reason I would like to purchase them...
