Hi all,
Just wondering what the differences, if any, are between the E and AU radiators, also the Thermo's? I'm looking at doing the thermo fan mod, and can get an AU fan set complete with radiator cheap. Radiator would only be a back up as mine is fine. Just wondering if they will fit the same? Mounts the same? Don't have to change anything? Also where is the best place to buy a Davies Craig kit? AU fans are a bit smaller. I used a set on my XG radiator because the EF-L type were too big.

The alloy rads corrode very easy if not looked after as compared to brass core.Davies craig thermo switches arent very good at all because i will soon be on my 3rd unit in roughly 3 years, they just die suddenly and always just out of warranty. Just a heads up, if i did it again i would try put a sensor in the thermostat housing because drilling and tapping a hole for a sensor is much better than a permanently leaking top hose from a davies craig temp switch.
Lucky i can overide the dodgy temp switch by turing on the demister or aircon because my 5.0 would have cooked a couple of times.
